Boston - During the time frame of July 15th thru July 18th, 2008, Field Chairs and Executive Directors from the Northeast Region met in Boston to participate in an Impact Leadership Training session. The classes were provided by Career Training Concepts, Inc., a firm employed by the National Committee to provide standardized quality and content training to all committees across the country. The training included Personal and Professional Development, USERRA Refresher, Military Outreach Program, Employer Outreach Program, Public Affairs & Media Relations, Awards Programs, Recruiting and Mentoring New Volunteers, and more. There was considerable interaction and sharing of best practices between members attending the conference.
