John Pelose , MA ESGR Area Chairman for Eastern Massachusetts paid an important visit to Dr. Dana Mohler-Faria, President of Bridgewater State College on August 6th. The purpose of Mr. Pelose's visit was to preside over a Statement of Support signing ceremony where President Mohler-Faria reaffirmed the college’s support for employees and students serving in the Guard and Reserve.

Prior to the signing, Mr. Pelose presented a brief overview of ESGR, its history and mission, and explained why employer support is critical to the defense of America . 

Bridgewater State College has students in the Guard and Reserve, offers Army and Air Force ROTC programs in a cross town agreement with Boston University, and has a Veteran's Affairs Office to assist Veterans with the transition from service member to student. Dr. Mohler-Faria is an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He is also a special advisor to Governor Deval Patrick on education.
