Sterling - The Annual Membership meeting of the Northeast Public Power Association (NEPPA) held at the Chocksett Inn on October 3rd featured an ESGR Statement of Support signing and award presentation.  NEPPA instructor Linda Calderiso presented a Patriot Award to Executive Director Patrick Hyland.  Master Sergeant Calderiso nominated Mr. Hyland as a Patriotic Employer to acknowledge his support for her service in the Army Reserve. 

Following the presentation, Mr. Hyland was invited to sign a Statement of support by Chair Emeritus Ken Forchielli, who stressed to continuing importance of employer support for Guard and Reserve service.

Master Sergeant Calderiso retuned to the podium and was eloquent in her expression of appreciation and gratitude to all the association members that had allowed her the flexibility to change schedules whenever her military duties called her away, usually on very short notice.   She concluded her remarks by assisting in the presentation of ESGR’s Above and Beyond Award to Mr. Hyland who graciously accepted on behalf of NEPPA.
