Navy Reservist Awards Employer with Patriot Award

Westborough – Petty Officer First Class (PO1) Ryan Brueggeman, Rhode Island US Navy Reservist and Employee of Camerota Truck Parts of Westborough MA, nominated his employer for the Department of Defense Patriot Award for the continued support from the company’s General Manager Bill St. Germain. “Bill’s great! The Reserve Unit I belong to often requires short term commitments. Every time this happens he and the company is always supportive.” Camerota Truck Parts has 185 employees at six locations in the Northeast. “I know we have two other employees in our CT location that have been deployed, we’re proud of them and always supportive of their service” said Mr. St. Germain.

The Patriot Award was presented by MA National Guard Sergeant First Class (SFC) Richard Reynolds who is employed as the MA ESGR Program Coordinator. After the presentation, PO1 Brueggeman added “They’ve always been supportive; when I was hired the interview process was quite thorough; I was asked to come back for a second interview and was then given the job. Two days later I received notification from the Reserves that I was needed. I immediately informed my boss and told him because of this unique situation that I would not expect Camerota to retain me. They said they support me and would hold my position until I return. They Did!”
