  REGIONAL OFFICE FOR A LARGE NATIONAL ENGINEERING FIRM RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS ABOVE AND BEYOND AWARD

MANSFIELD, MA. September 28, 2009. The regional office of UC Synergetics  was honored with the Above and Beyond Award today. The corporate offices are located in Charlotte, NC. Nominated by Reserve member and former employee of the firm, Matthew Arsenault, the award was accepted on behalf of the company's CEO Dana Morton by Mr. Greg Griffin, Operations Manager. Mr. Morton had previously received the Patriotic Employer Award and has signed a Statement of Support for the Guard & Reserve. The award nomination stated that the company always gives it that "Extra Effort" when it comes to supporting all their Guard and Reserve members for training or deployments.      

UC Synergetic services include large distribution system improvement projects: creating highly complex designs for network underground systems; utility pole relocations; developing complex designs for industrial and large commercial applications (such as three-phase loop designs and alternate feed systems); and residential and commercial lighting design.   

The National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is a Department of Defense agency established in 1972. The mission of ESGR is to gain and maintain employer support for Guard and Reserve service by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of the USERRA law of 1994 and resolving conflicts through mediation. the MA Committee has more than 35 volunteers dedicated to helping every "Citizen Soldier". On hand representing MAESGR  were Director of Awards Roger Fortin and Program Support Specialist David St. Germain.
