WALPOLE BASED SECURITY FIRM RECEIVES THE PATRIOT AWARD

WALPOLE, MA. September 29, 2009, The corporate offices of Apollo Security in Walpole, MA was the site of a Patriot Award presentation today, Lance Corporal (LCpl) Kristopher Jenkins, US Marine Corps Reserve, an employee of Apollo Security, nominated his supervisor, Greg Pais for the award because of his outstanding support of Jenkins' military career. In his write up of Mr. Pais, the proud Marine stated: "Not only did Greg work hard to find a security position for me upon my return from deployment, he gave me a much better position and more salary!"   

Apollo Security consists of 1200 employees in 8 states with corporate headquarters in Walpole and is owned by Dennis Crowley and Dick Ryer, both combat veterans of the Viet-Nam War. On hand for the presentation ceremony were several members of the Apollo Staff.    

The National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is a Department of Defense agency established in 1972. The mission of ESGR is to gain and maintain employer support for Guard and Reserve service by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of the USERRA law of 1994 and resolving conflicts through mediation. The MA Committee has more than 35 volunteers dedicated to helping every "Citizen Soldier". On hand representing MAESGR were Awards Director Roger Fortin and Program Support Specialist  David St. Germain.
