Infrastructure Services Office is located in
Needham, MA.
The office was the venue today for a
presentation of The Above & Beyond Award to Service Delivery
Manager, Karen Reilly. Ms. Reilly was honored for her outstanding
support of a military member in her workforce. Originally nominated
by Mike Geren, a member of the Army Reserve, for a Patriot Award, Karen
received the Above & Beyond Award at a ceremony attended by
nearly thirty of her c0-workers and staff. CSC provides continuation
of company benefits, a difference in pay and maintains constant
contact with their deployed employees and their families. Among the
staff present at event was the spouse of a soon to be deployed
member of the Guard & Reserve.
The National Committee for Employer Support of
the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is a Department of Defense agency
established in 1972. The mission of ESGR is to gain and maintain
employer support for Guard and Reserve service by recognizing
outstanding support, increasing awareness of the USERRA law of 1994
and resolving conflicts through mediation. The MA Committee has more
than 35 volunteers dedicated to helping every "Citizen Soldier".
On hand representing MAESGR were South Eastern Area Chair and Senior
Ombudsman Joachim-Ingo "Ski" Borowski, Awards Director
Roger Fortin and Program Support Specialist David St. Germain.
