WALPOLE, MA. June 15, 2010. Sergeant (SGT) Chad E. Thomas, US Army Reserve is an employee of Fulfillment Services Co. Inc. He nominated his company for the Patriot Award. In his nominating statement, SGT Thomas wrote; "I have been with Fulfillment Services Inc. for less than a year but in this time they supported me through my preparations for and attendance at the Sapper Leadership Course, multiple UTAs, MUTAs and Battle Assembles. They also strongly supported me in my role in the BEST WARRIOR Competition, not to mention many days cut short because I needed to report for duty. FSI has always been gracious and supportive of my service to the Country!" Accepting the award on behalf of Fulfillment Services Inc. was his Manager Mr. Michael Kerwin. 

The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is a Department of Defense agency established in 1972. The mission of ESGR is to gain and maintain employer support for Guard and Reserve service by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of the USERRA law of 1994 and resolving conflicts through mediation. The MA Field Office has more than 40 volunteers dedicated to helping every "Citizen Soldier". On hand representing MAESGR were Volunteer  Roger Fortin and Program Support Specialist David St. Germain.
