CANTON, MA. July 23, 2010. Norfolk County District Attorney William Keating was presented the Patriot Award here today. He was nominated for the honor by employee and U.S. Marine Corps Reservist Second Lieutenant (2LT) Michael Devlin. When nominating The District Attorney, The Marine penned the following: "District Attorney Keating and his subordinate managers are fully supportive of my role in the Marine Corps Reserve. They support and encourage my military career. Upon being hired, I explained that I would be going to school in Yuma, AZ for seven weeks. They explained, with full enthusiasm, that it would not be a problem. They constantly express their respect for my service and pride in having me as a part of their team. They have continued my health coverage while I was away." DA Keating stated that he was honored to have LT Devlin as a member of his staff. Mr. Keating stressed that all employers should support their military member personnel to the fullest extent.
