WEST WAREHAM, MA. August 2, 2010. Churchill Transportation is a freight hauling company located on the "Cranberry Highway" on the road to Cape Cod. Today, two of The MAESGR Field Office members visited the headquarters to present the Patriot Award to the Company President, Mr. Matthew Churchill. President Churchill was recommended for the award by employee and US Air Force Reserve Staff Sergeant, Nicole Donovan. Upon his acceptance of the award, Mr. Churchill said: "Nicole Donovan brought the best possible attributes learned from the military to her daily job. She is timely, knows how to get things done efficiently, and takes pride in the quality of the work she provides to this operation. We are extremely proud of Nicole and her military career."

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is a Department of Defense agency established in 1972. The mission of ESGR is to gain and maintain employer support for Guard and Reserve service by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of the USERRA law of 1994 and resolving conflicts through mediation. The MA Field Office has more than 40 volunteers dedicated to helping every "Citizen Soldier". On hand representing MAESGR were Volunteer Roger Fortin and Program Support Specialist David St. Germain.
