CAMBRIDGE, MA. January 18, 2012. MAESGR Volunteer and Area Chair for Central Massachusetts Anthony Ingrisano, ventured to Cambridge today to witness Mr. Robert M. Avakian, Financial Advisor and Advisor Team Leader at the Cambridge Office of First Command Financial Services, sign a Statement of Support. First Command develops and delivers comprehensive financial plans and solutions to assist families in their efforts to reduce debt, build wealth and confidentially pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams. In signing the Statement, Mr. Avakian stated that it was "both an honor and an obligation to support those citizen warriors who defend our Nation and to commend those employers who share their employees with the Armed Forces."  

The National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is a Department of Defense agency established in 1972. The mission of ESGR is to gain and maintain employer support for Guard and Reserve service by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of the USERRA law of 1994 and resolving conflicts through mediation. The MA Field Office has more than 45 volunteers dedicated to helping every "Citizen Soldier". On hand representing MAESGR was Volunteer and Area Chair for Central Massachusetts, Anthony Ingrisano.
